Anna Giulia Castaldo is an urban planner, adjunct professor at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies (DAStU), Politecnico di Milano, and a postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in Urban Planning, Design, and Policy. Her research activity focuses primarily on Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) urban planning and governance. As part of her recent work, she contributed to NBS research in Global South countries through the Polisocial Award 2022 project, NBSouth. She was also the NBSouth Communication Manager, leading the project’s dissemination, communication and impact strategy. Passionate about scientific communication, she holds a second-level Master’s in Communication of Science and Sustainable Innovation (MACSIS) from the University of Milano-Bicocca.
