Architecture starts by listening: the city’s people, gaps, and fractures steer research toward just, inclusive, poetic futures
Emiliia Kuzmina is an architect and urban researcher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design from London Metropolitan University and is currently completing her Master’s in Architecture and Urban Design at Politecnico di Milano.
Her academic work focuses on speculative environments and urban futures. Emiliia is also engaged in the international workshop Piranesi Prix de Rome, which brings together designers and theorists to reinterpret architectural heritage and urban transformations.
As a team member of the URBINARY Podcast, she contributes to research, content creation, and editorial production for Cycle 2, with a focus on urban peripheries, mega-events, and migration.
Her interests lie at the intersection of space architecture, social urbanism, and visual storytelling, with a strong dedication to exploring contemporary urban issues through both speculative and grounded perspectives!
